Pedal Power Steps Up

While fundraising for a permanent skatepark continues the town has allowed the Skatepark Committee to set up a "seasonal skatepark" at Sears Park which will be taken down during the Winter months. Gary Nicol and Bill McEnery, the owners of Pedal Power in Middletown, have shown huge interest in the Belltown Skatepark and offered to sponsor the park. The shop is donating $2,000 in materials to get the seasonal park up and running and will be backing our efforts 100%. Currently the park consists of a few ramps and a grind box, but with this huge contribution from Pedal Power a legitimate skatepark will be built over the course of the next month. We cannot express how grateful we are to have the support of the guys at Pedal Power!

Our first tenative build day is Saturday, August 15th from 9am-9pm at Sears Park. Come out, show support for the park, and offer a helping hand! Together we can make this skatepark a reality!

A Winter Home for the Ramps

We'd like to thank Global Self Storage for donating a storage unit as a Winter home for the temporary skatepark. Rain and snow can be really harsh on wooded ramps, but with our park stored away in a safe, dry place we'll be ready to rock come Spring!
